http://www.bermudaseek.com/category/bermuda-government/ | Police called to incident in House of Assembly | Progressive Labour Party MP Zane DeSilva has filed a complaint to Police over threatening behaviour that allegedly took place during an altercation between MPs after the evening session of Parliament last night. The PLP issued a statement saying: “Following events that occurred after yesterday’s sitting of the House of Assembly, MP Zane DeSilva has filed a complaint for threatening behaviour with the Bermuda Police Service. No further comment will be forthcoming from the PLP, as this matter lies with the police.” It is understood that there was a heated exchange between One Bermuda Alliance MP Sylvan Richards and Marc Bean, the Opposition leader, which also involved Mr DeSilva and Mr Richards’s wife, Yahaira.
